1 good, 1 bad
I have one at work and it works great, bought one from here 6-8months ago and it doesn't print colors worth a darn, despite numerous cleaning of head,etc. Take your chances

A Great Little Printer!
My wife and I are downsizing for travel in an RV. This printer has small size, great capabilities, and operates well on a small DC to AC inverter. It's the right product for the right job!

Very efficient and reliable
I travel quite a bit and the Canon iP100 has been very reliable since I bought it! I use it in airports, on the plane and at hotels that do not have business centers when I need to print our important documents to provide to customers.

Does Everything I Expected It To Do
I am also in Afghanistan and I wish the ad would have mentioned that it did not come with a cable because it is tough to obtain one over here. Otherwise the product got here quickly, the price I reckon is reasonable and I am very happy overall.

Still Without a Working Printer
The price was great. The printer was the cheapest in comparison to all of the other sites I visited. However, I cannot appropriately rate features, quality, or performance because the item did not come with a printing cable. Specific Details, or any details for that matter, did not explain that the printing cable was not a part of the contents. Sadly, there's no computer store around the corner in Afghanistan. Good But
I ordered this printer when it was on sale and it came very quickly with no issues. The software is easy to install and it worked great right out of the box. The only thing you need to be careful about is the plastic finish on the printer is painted on and scratches very easy. Do not turn over on the top or you will mar the finish. If you need a portable printer this is it. It is a shame that it does not come wireless or have a portable battery included in the price. I would also look online to find after market print cartridges as the Cannon brand is expensive.

it runs very fast and does well on ink my only concern is all the noise it makes during the printing process.

not cost effective
The product as a printer works fine. However, the selling feature was the mobility of the printer. I did not know that I would have to pay extra for that selling feature. This was the whole reason I was buying it. That in itself does not make it cost effective.
