Adesso lacks support
I purchased an Adesso NuScan2100 to find out that it did not recognize all the variations of bar codes in our stock. Adesso support is an oxymoron and was forsed to either rescan over 4000 products into our system or return the product to them. Adesso take notes from Bernard in customer service where service still matters. Thanks Bernard

Worked better than
the new Wasp I had just installed. Wasp had zero range, Adesso works great.

very configurable
Bought 7 of these to use in a laser tag business - very configurable once you find the programmers guide online, it lets you change just about anything you can imagine. Had to set them to international keyboard mode to work properly.

Does What It's Supposed to Do
Scans quickly and accurately all the codes we need in a small school library environment. I worry a bit about long-term use because of the plastic construction. Otherwise, this has been a good choice for us so far.

Better options for just a couple bucks more
For a $90 barcode scanner, this gun was remarkably slow to recognize UPC codes. If you've got lots of scanning to do, look elsewhere. Promptly returned.

Surprising value
Just finished the month with the scanner. Works better than the old one that broke. Heavy use over July 4th. I would purchase again.

Great value for a scanner
I was skeptical of a scanner priced this low considering the last one I purchased was over $200. This scanner has been able to scan everything I need it to from large box labels to small component labels to dirty old or slightly damaged bar codes. I think it actually works better than any of the previous models I have used. I will be ordering several more for company-wide use.

Great value in a barcode scanner
This unit has worked very well for us in conjunction with our web-based POS software and a Mac Mini. I was hesitant based on the low price, but it performs the job perfectly and we'll be buying more Adesso scanners in the future.
