VelocirRaptor rocks
this hard drive is 100% a.o.k quality , performance does what its made for rec to anyone. have two of these in raid for 2 years no problem yet .

Best in class
I've been using a pair of these in RAID 0 for 18 months without a problem. I have my OS (Win7 64) on the array and my data on another VRaptor 300 GB. Believe it or not, this RAID 0 VRaptor array performs as well as my SSD drives configured in a similar manner. Of course, the SSD has far faster access times, but aside from certain benchmark ratings, in actual day to day use there's no noticable difference. BTW, The VRaptor RAID 0 average access time is 6.7 ms. R and W are faster than the SSD at around 190 mBs. Not bad for a spinner!

Fast
Bought one of these bout a month ago and it's very fast. My puter boots up in 37 seconds running Win 7 64 bits, very happy.

Works great
This drive is very fast and virtually silent. It runs a little warm, but is cooler than another model drive I own that is still working after 12 years of service. I am very happy with it so far and would recommend it -- but it is more expensive than other drives, and is probably not a drive for every person. I recommend reviewing specs, price, and other sources and decide if it is right for your needs. Compared to a good late model 7200 RPM drive, the increased speed may or may not WOW! a typical user. The drive comes with 5 year warranty.

Speedy
Although its pretty expensive per GB, I found it worth the money. I'm always the first to load at LAN parties. If you need speed and reliability, go for this drive.
