I bought this about two months ago because I wanted a network printer to replace the MP6 that I was using. I works great and the printing quality is far better than my previous printer. The printing speed is a lot faster too. Complicated pages with a lot of graphics that took a couple of minutes to render and print on the MP6 now take only a few seconds. |

I bought this based on other reviews. My main concern was a printer that is compatible with Vista. This installs with the accompanying disk with Vista instantly without doing anything else. It is a noisy printer at full speed which is lightening fast. If you go to Amazon.com there is a review which discusses the quiet mode. The main issues I had were that it comes without a manual. you have to print it off the disk. For $400 HP SHOULD have sent a real manual. People complained of flimsy plastic. Yes it isnt tough hard shelled plastic, but it isnt flimsy nor does it seem apt to break. I am totally happy (minus the manual) with my purchase. Beware....you need to buy a cartridge, it only comes with a starter cartridge. |
