X-Fi Titanium Caused IRQ conflicts

What ever happened to sound Blaster. I purchased this card on past experiences of Sound Blaster. This card caused IRQ conflicts with other components in my computer. When I installed the drivers, it became bad. Changing the location of the card made no difference. As far as sound quality, it was very clean but I couldn't leave it in my machine. The box it came in had a sticker on it that stated it was windows 7 compatible. I tend to NOT purchase components that become compatible through the addition of a sticker on the box. That tells me that they are depending on the updated drivers only to make it work. That's not a good thing. I'm surprised at Sound Blaster. I'm using the on-board sound now and am happy with it, at least it works.

Endless BSOD

Endlessly crashes windows 7 ultimate on my t7400. Computer could not boot with card installed - further research revealed this is a known issue with soundblaster and win. Software updates made bad - returned for different card

I had forgotten how good sound blaster was. I hadn't really used a true sound card since the invention of onboard sound. The only reason I got this one was because my onboard sound started failing and I'm a big BF3 player. The first time I played with this card installed I found out how much of a difference an actual sound card makes. The onboard 5.1 can't compare to this card, even when I use headphones (that aren't surround sound) this card somehow produce's some varition of surround. I can tell what direction heli's are coming from when others can't. From now on when I build a new pc it will have a sound blaster card in it.

Does the trick what more can I say if you want to record and burn quality sounded music cd's this is the card. After exchanging 2 others finally got the one that does it all. Five Stars

First Sound Card, amazing price, blew me away!

This was my first sound car. A friend told me about it, saying there was a really good sound card on sale for $70. I got it in a couple business days, took a bit for me to install cause I had to move my video card and re-install drivers, but holy lord the sound blew me away. My music now shakes the house out of my $60 speakers. Get it nao!!!
