Almost Perfect
As most of us know, there are external USB floppy drives. No problem. I wanted an internal USB floppy drive. When I found this one I was ecstatic! Then it arrived and I found out that only the card reader portion is USB. The floppy drive portion is still IDC. Was I disappointed, you may ask? Well, yeah I was. So, I took it apart and made both portions USB. Put it back together and installed it. Woo Hoo, internal USB Floppy drive with card reader. Problem solved...

Not a USB floppy drive!
I should have looked more carefully at the pictures in the ad first to notice that it still had an old school 34-pin floppy interface connector. New motherboards don't support this, and I can't find a USB, PCI or PCIe floppy controller card to add it. So basically, all I've bought myself is a card reader...

card reader with floppy
Nice to have floppy drive in computer plus to have card reader too is nice with all the phones and cameras with micro sd cards a plus to upload data and to run memtest86 on computers and if you want to flash bios

To many Features
This floppy has to many features for it's own good. The reviews on it were not good ( 60-40 60 being bad ). Thought it would work for me; I was wrong.

Poor description of product
The description of this product leaves you with the impression that it will work on a motherboard that does not have a 34 pin floppy drive connection, not so. It will run the SD cards but the floppy disk will not work without the 34 pin hook-up. Like many others, I wanted an internal floppy drive for my system. I know they make an external floppy drive that uses the USB 2.0 connection so why not an internal one.

good product
This drive works great, installed with included screws (thanks for including) so no problem there, the floppy drive is very smooth and seems to read old disks very well. sdhc card reader works great and it has quite a good night light too

Defective
This drive seems like a good idea, but the floppy drive didn't work, and the LED is on all the time. I had to send it back.
