Considering that watching video from our old camera was like looking through a window with grease on it, the picture quality on this camera is awesome. Easy to use. Lightweight. Versatile. We're struggling a bit more with manipulating the files once on computer but that is probably because it uses the latest m2ts format. Have to wait for the world to catch up. |

I bought this camcorder back in May and we paid under 600 including shipping. Anyway it was bought for my wife as an addition for her digital still camera that she uses and we both love it. I use it at least once a week for shooting youth sports videos and it has a great feature set for that...Rain, night time, bright sun it doesn't matter this video camera can cover it all. My wife uses it for the kids and other odd jobs that she does for photography and it works great. We have used it on vacation and around the house documenting the updates and changes we have made to our back yard and all I can say is THANKS FOR THE DEAL TIGERDIRECT! The one drawback is the software that comes with the camera. For the money spend a little bit extra and go get Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Version 12 or the version that has the small video Dazzle box with it. |

For those of you using an external memory card or the simple way to say it is a removeable memory card. HINT get you a $10 card reader for your computer. The computer sees it as another hard drive so you can copy, paste, drag and drop or what ever you do with a hard drive file except you are manipulating movie files off your memory card. You might also check out some better software but what you have is not all that bad as I have seen some real sorry stuff in the past Hope this helps |
