Excellent device
Good quality for the price. Set up very easy. Works well on computers, little pricey in my opinion for the apps.

I am proud to be a slinger!
I bought the Slingbox SOLO because the capabilities are awesome. Originally, I began using a friends slingbox. I moved out of state so, he would let me log into his slingbox to watch the big game. Needless to say when he was using it, I was out of luck. Finally, I broke down and ordered one and had it shipped to another friend. Setup was easy and now, I am slinging baby!

Never worked properly
Bought this unit from sling a year or so ago. Never worked properly and Sling was no help. Could not believe the y want to charge $30 for iPad app. Just a rip off Any body want to buy a piece of junk.

Great product for watching your DVR anywhere in the world.
Walked into whoppers put my iPad on the table click the icon and I was watching my DVR. Picture is great however it sometimes has problems buffering on the high definition setting. that is probably due to the network rather than the sling box or the app. I had purchased the sling box because it was at a great price and after ordering it went to get the app for my iPad and was surprised to find out that it was $29. It worked flawlessly on my PC in my study. the only problem I had was in setting it up but I believe that problem was caused by the number of devices I have on my network and I figured it out in a few minutes

So Far So Good
I did have some difficulties getting the unit to connect to my network and even after I did it dropped the connection after a short time. I reloaded all the software and rebooted my network and set it up again and so far it has worked very well since then so I'm pleased. The big test will be when I'm out of the country, which is why I bought it.

Worked Great - A few network setting changes.
I got this for my wife for her birthday. I very quickly set it up so that she could watch from wi-fi in the house. I had to do a little reconfiguration of my network to get it to work from the internet. Once I did that my wife can watch our TV when she is scrapbooking or waiting at a sporting event or whatever as long as she has wifi. Her only complaint is that if someone is home they might change the channel on her.

Love it!
I had a previous version of the Slingbox so I knew how wonderful it is. This company is also wonderful in standing behind the products they sell and giving you the opportunity to return them, if necessary. This company is also wonderful with the quick shipping they provide. Love my Slingbox!
