AMD Phenom X4 9850 Processor
This is one of the latest in the line of more than 40 consecutive AMD processers I have installed in computers for friends and family. I have not had a single failure of an AMD processor. I highly recommend AMD Processors especially when used in conjunction with an ASUS Motherboard.

Great Product for Price
Using in an ASUS M4N78 Pro motherboard and love it's speed performance. With CoolMaster heatsink and fan temp stays at 36 C.

Watch what you buy
I can only blame myself for not checking what motherboards, memory and video cards are compatible with this chip. As it turns out, there are only a few. So, instead of an upgrade, I ended up with a new build. I am very happy with the system, but what I started out with a cheap CPU, ended up costing several hundred dollars in the end.

Great Basic Quad Core Processor
Replaced a Dual Core processor in a machine I use primarily for audio conversion, and XM radio, along with a miriad of other misc things. The processor was less expensive than what I originally paid for my dual core, runs cool using a Dark Knight cooler in an Asus M2N68-AM Plus motherboard. I have noticed a marked improvement in speed. Nice little upgrade !

Nice and steady
It runs quite nicely on the M4A785-M. Not hard to keep below 50c with a nice aftermarket cooler. Everything stable; good product. Thanks!
