similar product?

wondering if it's just me, but the chassis of this case greatly resembles that of the aerocool qx-2000 case...

great concept, poor execution

I like the idea of micro-ATX FF and small foot print cases but I had some problems with this one. The construction is very solid and the case is well built but the interior metal edges all had an unfinished sharpness to them that left me with more then one cut.I also had trouble finding a power supply that would fit into the limited space provided and still provide the wattage needed for the components . I have to take a moment to say that i am very disappointed in the front door design for the DVD drive slot. a rather complicated set up for something that could just have easily been accomplished with an empty hole and some offset screw mounts.

Really Cool Case!

Received the case as expected on the shipping date... the case is beautiful. Everything fit as advertised. The flip top is a neat feature. The LCD screen on the front is useless, but looks great. Highly Recommended.

The best looking case I've seen

The drive doors are a little flimsy, but they work OK. I'm only using one drive bay, which leaves the button on the empty drive with nothing to do. Consequently, there is no spring action on the button, so it doesn't stand proud. I fixed this by applying peel and stick foam rubber door seal (for sealing drafts) inside the empty bay, directly behind the button. I would purchase this case again.

Nice idea, but

a poor execution. I like the hinge feature, but that ''kickstand'' is too whimpy to be useful; it kept bending. The seconday DVD doors are another example: they keep hanging up on the 'real' DVD door. Lastly, the hard drive tray mounts directly in front of the PSU. I wasn't able to install or remove the SATA cables, once the drive was in place, in either slot. Flipping the drive around isn't possible; in one position, it interferes with the case cover guide pin. In the other slot, it interferes with the case frame. I ended up drilling some mounting holes, and located the hard drive behind the DVD. I think this one needs to be kicked back to the design team.

Love this case!

I bought this case for a new Windows Server 8 build. The quality of this case is fantastic - no sharp edges and everything fits together perfectly. The red LCD display is kind of cheesey, but I do like the temperature gauge. Wish it had HDD LEDs to indicate activity instead of the animated LCD. Small complaint. Highly recommended case. Be sure to get right-angled SATA cables for your drives. A full sized power supply will back right up to the drive cage.

Nice Case

Installed TH55HD LGA1156 MoBo that went in perfect. Put a i3 Socket 1156 CPU Cooler on core and added a 80mm thermistor fan on top side rear. Used a modular 500w PS which was a tight fit, but, instead of using provided dual hard drive cage, installed a 500GB drive where the 3.5 floppy would have gone and put a 1TB drive in 5.25 to 3.5 adapter that mounted in second half height bay under the DVD-CDRW unit. Clamshell design is the best. Three fans run very quiet and case is staying nice and cool. The switchable temp readout is awesome, I have mine set for F. And the case looks great. My only wish is the LCD readout backlight was some color other than red. It would be cool if was switchable between Red, Green, Blue. Overall, a great case that is well built and easy to work with. Fit and finish are OK for me. Orange peel paint effect others have complained about is picking nits. Update: I found a adapter plate which allows use of a micro-ATX PS. This solves problem of space for the ha

small compact but lousy DVD hinge

Had to downgrade because the DVD bay doors are bad. For the price I am disappointed they went this way. Should be far cheaper based on that alone

Damaged during shipping

I returned this case because the upper faceplate was broken during shipping (Delivered by OOPS). I was lucky to find the same case locally the next day. Inside of case seems crowded compared to outer size. 3.5 hard drive will not fit if power supply is to large. Very little instructions with case or on Aerocool website. No info provided on placing temp sensor wire. Front display not very useful. Runs quietly & cool with included 120mm fan plus 3 80mm Silent X fans.

sweet case

I love this case. The airflow is great and everything stays at about 78 degrees even in a desk cupboard with the door closed. Very flexible. Note that even though the MB is Micro-ATX, it uses a regular ATX power supply. Not clear in the specs. I bought an extra 80mm fan and put it on the back plugged into the MB fan plug, and it never even kicks in because the huge fan in the font (120mm?) cools everything enough. No problems with CD doors like some others mention.
