great bang for buck
Easy to set up. Scanner is fast and quiet. No problems scanning photos or double-sided docs. Printing quality of photos was excellent. The auto duplex printing is GREAT. The Epson iPrint app for Android was easy to setup and produces good quality prints. It was fun to send my wife a love note when she was working at the computer and I was away.

Easy set up, great quality
The epson printer was set up and on our network within minutes. All our computers immediately interfaced successfully. Our last HP printer took hours to set up and never interfaced with some of our computers. The scan function is key to our office going paperless. After 30 years of HP printers I am now an Epson fan!

Changed from HP
I had stayed with HP for years as there were always drivers available for all my various applications and computers. However, I use them hard and replaced them about every year. Therefore I bought an Epson and am more than pleased for the money.

An Exceptional Printer
This is my first Epson in about 35 years of computing, I first used HP, then switched to Lexmark, but for various reasons I decided it was time to make a switch. This was on sale for $119.99 when I bought it, and my first though was for the price it had to be a low end printer. But I took a chance anyway and boy was I wrong. This printer is fantastic, the setup was a breeze both on my main computer and all of the other computers on my home network. The wireless feature even allows me to print from my smartphone. Both photos and documents alike print very clean and clear. The fact that faxes can be sent to and saved on the computer is a big bonus over other all-in-one prints that will only print them out. The software that comes with the printer for faxing has no frills, but it is adequate.
