Very good deal
I bought this unit on sale mostly because it had 8 channels and had 1tb of memory. I have never bought anything from swann before but this is the best home Dvr that I have ever seen or used. It has a lot of features on it, some of which you only see in units that you would pay a thousand or more for. My only complaint about the unit is the fan to cool it down is not that quite. If you are trying to read a book or a newspaper in the same room (ie. living room) it is a little distracting. If you have the tv on and are listening to the sound the fan gets completely drained out. Its comparable to a regular computer fan. Also the blue LED strip on the front only stays on for 5seconds upon start up, it does not stay on all the time. When I bought it I thought I was going to have nice LED effect
