sturdy, well-made
I bought this to support a 25'' monitor. Upon opening the box, I was impressed by the weight and solid construction of the pieces. Well-machined, too. Be advised: assembly can be time-consuming! But it works AS ADVERTISED, which is high praise indeed in these days ! The attachment plate partly obscures the monitor's connection panel, but that wasn't a problem for me.

Purchased 2 of these! They work great
I purchased 2 of these for my desk to be able to swing my dual monitors to the side of my desk when I have people sitting across from me. These work great, are sturdy and easy to install.

Reccomend only if too broke for alternatives
This mount is all in all very good, but it has several flaws which completely cripple it. Assembly was a chore. The instructions are haphazard at best. At one point an optional step carried on as if mandatory. The screws provided were too short and I had to go looking for my own. Installation was much easier, as all I had to do was screw at the back onto table. Reinstallation is a total disaster and is a two man job. One flaw, with a 28 inch monitor, it still floats 2 inches off the table at the lowest setting. I am literally 0.5 inch too high to maneuver under the cabinet. I plan on drilling to make it go lower, but I imagine drilling through 0.25 inch of graphite is no easy task. On the plus side, moving the monitor around is easy

Good Buy
Used it to install an all-in-one computer (HP Touchsmart) which is pretty heavy. I would not keep it at full extension all the time but in my case, half-way retracted and with occasional extended use it does a fine job. I forsee absolutely no problems with the weight of a simple screen. Good construction.

Recommended
Bought a pair of these for 2 x 24 inch LCD monitors. It's nice to have the desk space back.
