Bad power supply

The power supply that goes with this case is very bad. I usually smelt burnt odor from the exhaust vent of the power supply. I recommend to buy just the case. It's a very nice case, just the power supply is horrible.

Fantastic Box

i build computrs for friends, i have purchased this product 4 or 5 times now. the box is great. there is plenty of room enough for2 hard drives. plenty of wire and very accesible for the size that it is. my only complaint i the power supply is too small and doesnt fit 8 prong moptherboards. it is well wrth the 79 dollars, i woud recomend the case to a friend and actually hae.

Good Deal

I bought this case after a lot of shopping for horizontal case that would support larger motherboard. I was surprised at how quiet it is. I have a lot of stuff in the box and have not really really put it under load yet. I am keeping my fingers crossed on the power supply. Even if I had to replace the PS, I would still be happy with the price for the case alone.

Power Supply lasted a month

I like the case. Its a great size and components fit fine. Just the power supply died after a month. They should sell this case for $20 less and not include the power supply.

works ok

Changed to a different power supply to support a more potent video card. Case and power supply location too narrow to permit bigger video card fitting. Otherwise easy to work in.

Using for 1mo now

I've already provided my review for this item below, but I would like to update on basis of the experience with the unit. The Power Supply is indeed fairly weak, allowing for quite a bit of Voltage variation - which is the reason why I rated this product lower in quality. Additionally, it is a 2x rail design, and it seems to put both the motherboard CPU and video card on the same rail - which is too much for a single rail and can cause the power supply to shutdown due to over voltage. In my case the Video card can draw up to 150W, (75W through the + 75 through the PCIe slot), and the board can draw another 150W, (100W CPU + 50W other functions and sound), which by itself is enough to throw the PSU over the edge and make it shutdown in certain situations. That said the Power supply is enough for most lower power consumption designs.

Small footprint, and fits a standard ATX mobo

This is the smallest footprint box that I found to fit an standard ATX motherboard. It does the work really well and has plenty of vents and internal space. Note that since this is a small footprint box, it does not fit today's over-sized Video Cards, or huge CPU coolers. I'm using with a fairly high performance build, with a EVGA GTX 550, and Antec 620 H20 cooler. The EVGA is the largest video card that would fit in the case, and the Antec cooler required some work to make it fit - but working great now. The blue LED is almost blinding bright - just use some dark nail polish from wife, and it will be ok.

Stylish, Spacious, Horizontal Case

Have only had it a month or so, but I love the design. Seems huge inside for such a sleek looking case. Lots of venting is nice, something I think my Dell lacked for the heat I live in. Using the included PSU, no problems thus far, but it's a nice case for the price even without the PSU, and since it's standard ATX size, it'll be a n easy swap-out if it ever goes. As other reviews have mentioned, the blue power LED on teh front is a bit much (faintly lights up the wall on the other side of the living room in the dark), so I may end up putting a resistor in to dim it. That's really my only con so far. Again, it's so spacious inside, and fits the space I wanted it in perfectly.

Quiet Box

I bought this to house my security system rather than hosting it in a tower this box gave me the ability to side mount it and install in a tight shelf in a closet. I replaced the two 80mm fans with a quieter 120 not that the 80's were very noisy but one 120 pushes the same air and is half the sound. Build was pretty easy and the 500 power supply was not a problem. I have spent much more on my htpc for a better brand name only now to wish I had bought another one of these and save $200.
