I've bought one of the small Samsungs each year at Black Friday ($99). I have the 315 on my wife's computer and the older 300 on mine. You never worry about dried ink cartridges, It is perfect for most everything but really high detailed photos. Great for cards and normal graphics. Update the software after installing and things will be just fine. I ranked performance high as it does what is advertised. Don't expect it to kick out 100 pages a minute. On the 300 I just replaced two of the colors and had in the past waited until one of the stationary suppliers had toner sales and bought on sale. By buying every year I save the cost of new toner and get an new machine. For features - I would really have liked to see it have the optional connection to the internet - so I marked it lower - that is the little knockout above the USB connection. |

Had this item for 3 months then had to contact Samsung for support, the online LED was staying on. They said that the main board is out, done. Had to take to service center to get fixed, only good thing was that is was a no cost fix for me, warrenty was good. |

I've had troubles with it not taking up the paper when trying to print. I'll have to pull out the tray, then push it back in. I've tried fanning the paper before putting in the try, it still has problems.
Nice, small printer with good quality for general busines. |

My wife loved her's so much I ordered one for myself. Glad to get rid of the old ink jet printer I had - it seemed I was always buying cartridges for it. It's a little slow but I'm in no hurry. As for photo quality, simplicity, appearance, reliability and price it can't be beat. |

This printer is doing great. It's willing to cooperate with my Linux (Ubuntu) system and hasn't goofed yet. And I don't see where the toners are going to be any more costly than inkjet ink.
You have to wait a bit for it to get up to temperature if you're only an occasional user, but the going to sleep to save amps is very desirable, so its okay with me.
I got it for tiny model emblems, and it's a success. Heck of a deal!!!
