Iogear GCS1804 KVMP Switch
The GCS1804 is the latest addition to IOGEAR's market leading KVM product line. It is a 4-port KVMP switch with stereo audio ports and an integrated 2-port USB 2.0 hub. Now, users can control up to four computers and share two additional USB peripherals from a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse console.
It features the patented asynchronous switching, which allows the user to independently switch applications between the connected computers. You can run an application on one computer while running another application on the other. Moreover, the integrated 2-port USB 2.0 hub is available for each computer to share multiple peripherals connected directly to the hub or via daisy chaining external powered USB 2.0 hubs. Access to such peripherals is performed on a one-at-a-time basis. Additionally, the display emulation technology makes the switch intelligent to read and remember the monitor's optimal display parameters and refresh rate. Finally, the audio ports allow for connecting powered PC speakers for stereo sound and a single microphone for audio input/output to each computer.
Switching between computers can be done in three convenient ways: 1) push button port selection located on the unit's front panel, 2) an On Screen Display (OSD) selection panel, and 3) a "Hotkey" programmable combinations entered from the keyboard.
Setup is fast and easy; simply plug the cables into their appropriate ports. There is no software to configure or install. Also, the included USB to PS/2 converter permits flexible configurations for the keyboard and mouse

Great 4 port KVMPs
I just received my new KVM, and it functions just as described, and is the best KVM I've purchased. It works flawlessly, and I was pleased to discover that the 'microphone' connection is just a 2nd stereo audio connection, and handles rear speakers rather than a microphone just fine. That means that all my systems that are connected to this switch can use all 4 of my speakers. I have surround sound no matter which system is running the game or DVD. Nice!

Quick delivery and setup
Ordered it on Friday, got it on Monday, and setup was ridiculously simple and when off without a hitch! Got this to replace my Extreme 4-port USB 1.1 switch (made by the same company) which has served me quite well over the years. And while from a visual standpoint I like the minimalist design of the flat buttons on the front, from a tactile standpoint I missed the feel of the raised buttons on the old unit. The remedy was to purchase some clear plastic, self-adhesive cabinet door bumpers and, using a hole punch, make and affixed little, raised dots on each of the flat buttons. Not a deal breaker, but noticed static in my headphones while plugged into the front of the switch which was not present when plugged directly into the computer. But having the headphone override on the front is a nice touch. Also, an improvement over the old unit is that the keyboard and mouse ports are in the back rather than front.

Great USB KVM!
This is a great USB KVM. It was easy to set up, performs flawlessly (well at least so far, about two weeks) and has lots of great features.

I love this switch. I have a Mac Mini, a Linux PC and a Windows laptop, and limited desk space. This switch lets me use all three with just one monitor, keyboard, and mouse. It has worked flawlessly so far. I love that you can switch inputs with hot keys, on-screen menu, or buttons on the front of the unit. Lots of options. I love the audio switching ability, and the fact that you can switch KVM, audio, and USB independently. Only two things I can imagine would improve it--being DVI instead of VGA, and having the on-screen display overlay the current video signal instead of replacing it.
