I bought this to use with a game system, which may have a tendency to overheat. Laying the game system on its side in a cabinet with the pad underneath works great. The game system and the cabinet stay cool, and the pad starts to turn to gel after a few hours. I'm very glad I bought this pad. It has no moving parts, no power requirements, no problems. |

I can't stand to use it with my 17" laptop because the slick surface and small size combine to create a constantly moving surface to balance on. It does work well with the older laptop my daughter uses. After the crystals turn to gel it is not so bad... but doesn't serve me well. |

This product really does what the manufacturer says it does. After using it with my laptop for several hours, the crystals on the mat turned to gel, and it was very confortable. |

No electricity draw. No moving parts. A simple idea realized well in this efficient design. Just a little lumpy at first, but smooths out quickly. One word: Cool! |
