Did not work
I inatall the unit in my computer and it did'nt work so i order a card that did'nt work also I have a 4-bay external hard-drive bay that use eSATA and USB the USB never worked and on my new computer that they don't work in.

Do just fine
These work equally as well as buying a full-scale adapter. No complaints about functionality. Offer great value. While it's not enough to affect functionality, some parts seem slightly flimsy. A nut is held into the main cord by only friction of rubber. So the internal cord could pop out or slip back with a little force. It was also a bit loose after being tightly screwed into the back of my case so that I had to open the case and hold it with my hand when plugging a device in. Probably not a big deal or a problem with moderate use on most cases, though.

Simple, easy works
Not much to it. Needed to speed up an USB external HD for backup that had sata port. Solid construciton, not flimsey. But as said, not much to it.
