Bought for USB

I bought this thinking it would be great for my USB devices. I could charge them all on one. However, it doesn't work well or at all on most of my USB devices. I do like the way I can change the direction of the power outlets, but do not think it was worth the money.

great deal

For $17, this is definitely a steal! Buy it for the basic surge protection, not as a USB hub; not sure what the manufacturer meant to design with this unpowered hub--but it's a nice enough surge protector.

You plug stuff in and get power...wow

Not much to say beyond the fact that it's sturdy and reliable. I love the pivoting plugs, that's a great feature. The USB hubs also act for me as a USB extension and saved me from having to buy extra USB cables. Also like that you can switch the power on and off to save on that leaking electricity. Great product!

doesn't fit my needs, or probably yours

For the price, you're better off getting two separate devices. Specifically, the deal-breaker is the unpowered nature of the USB hub. While many USB devices do not need a powered USB connection, many of the most useful such devices do, and this won't handle the job.

Very useful

Got it, Used it, liked it. Very useful if you have external hard drives, usb memory card, or something that you can have away from your computer, it free's up you laptop usb's, but i'd keep my mouse usb closer to the machine.

Unpowered power supply

I bought this to have both AC outlets and USB power ports. However, the USB hub is unpowered in this power strip, seems a contradiction doesn't it. After reading everything on Tiger's page and as much of the fine print on the package picture as I could, I took a chance (and lost). However, it does what it was designed to do. If for some reason you want electrical outlets in the same location as a USB hub it works, but it is more expensive than a USB hub and a smaller surge suppressor.

Wasn't exactly what I wanted

I was hoping that the USB ports were powered, so I could charge iTouch, camera, etc. but unfortunately that is not the case. I like that the outlets swivel and that this compact fused power strip protects my laptop from power spikes. Good item, just falls a bit short for me.

Perfect Combination

This is the perfect combination of accessories for my office. A set of surge protected, flexibly positioned electrical outlets, and four USB ports. Great little device

I travel a lot and am in hotels all the time. Most hotel rooms have two power outlets available for my computer and invariably they use one for a light. This device is great adds to the number of outlets, allows me to add my USB hard drives, and interrupt the network cable to add a safe power supply all around. GREAT VALUE.
