Great Performance, weak physical design
Check the Lenovo forum. This computer is plagued with a broken hinge problem due to bad case design. People are using duct tape to hold them together.

I bought this computer 2 months ago. I used to have a Toshiba satellite for 5 years and I wanted to buy another one since I tought they were the best. This Lenovo computer has been the best deal I have ever bought. It looks like a fancy computer because its layout is black and very ''classy''. The features are awesome, quality and performance are amazing as well. My friends tried my computer and now they are going to buy one too. Lenovo is the best in the market

I'd have to say, for the scratch you can't beat this laptop. It's a nice design and all of the functions are laid out well. The keypad types great, and the screen is not as reflective as alot of other reviews state. It seems to be pretty rugged and I haven't had any problems as far as crashes, or design flaws as of yet. I did buy a less powerful model, with only a 1.76 ghz proc, and only 160 gig drive, so I can't speak for the performance of this particular laptop, but for what I paid for mine, It's all worth it. The Dolby processing and four speakers plus sub sound fantastic. The dvd drive is a little noisy when watching movies but if you rip the disc first problem is solved and you preserve battery life during playback. The touch sensative buttons require absolutely no pressure and the touchpad is big enough and almost blends in with the rest of the case. Veriface is pretty sweet. I spent hours researching laptops, almost bought an Acer till I saw this. PHEW!!! No regrets.

I have owned mine for about a month now and the features are great. It looks and feels like a really expensive computer. The bad part is that a big feature of this computer is the surround sound. It sucks, I get a better sound from my telephone and I know my phone is louder. I have tried many of the adjustments and hardly any different. Do not trust the veriface, it will let anyone access.
