Receive and view both NTSC and ATSC signals. It can also view hi-def
up to 1080i when using an ATSC digital antenna to capture over-the-air channels.
1080i resolution will depend on the computer and its capable video resolutions.
A cable set-top box or satellite box can be used when going through the MCX
to F-Connector adapter. A coaxial cable is needed for this configuration. An

For the 1st post, you can turn off Captions by pressing Ctrl-Shift-S.
This works just as described. I simply wanted something to use to watch other games on instead of buying another TV.
Thanks, works great.

Its resolution of analog is fuzzy. It only picked up 5 OTA High Def channels (4 of which were Spanish). And the biggest reason it sucks...You CAN NOT turn off the closed captions. The button is grayed out. Don't waste your time or money.

I bought TV cards before, mixed experiences but none like this one. The whole thing just flat out don't work. Miss the game i wanted to see and returning for another brand.
What Is
High Definition And How Is It Different From Standard Definition?
High Definition or "HD" is a
technological leap forward from standard definition, with up to 6x the
picture resolution, so that what you see is sharper and more realistic. Regular TVs and the TV channels you watch
at home are typically in standard definition (unless you watch HD channels).
DVD are also in standard definition. Standard definition (480i & 480p)
is lower quality than high definition. Many older TV sets are standard
def, and can only show standard def content (programming). Many new
TVs are called High Definition TVs (HDTV). They are capable of showing
high def content in: 720p, 1080i, and 1080p, all high definition
formats, but 1080p provides the highest picture quality of them all. Click

What Is USB 2.0?
USB 1.1 was great when it was introduced almost a decade ago. But
the newer USB 2.0 transfers data dramatically faster - up to 40 times
quicker. Plus, USB 2.0 provides additional bandwidth for multimedia and
storage applications, which are growing larger every year. Also to your
advantage is the fact that USB 2.0 is forward and backward compatible with
USB 1.1, which means that cables and connectors made for the original USB
configuration will also work perfectly in a USB 2.0 port, though some newer
devices are specifically designed for USB 2.0. It is always a good
idea to verify the version of USB supported by each device you want to use.
