Wonderful

I have recomended it to all my friends. Even though it is a refurb, it is just like new. I loved that I could get it with Windows 7 which is what I have at work so that everything works great together. I had an issue with the battery, but HP came through and I now have a new one at no cost to me.

LEMON

While this computer appeared nice, after attempting to use it for routine tasks it unusable. The keyboard was unresponsive, the screen size changed on its own constantly. It could not stay connected to the wireless network when right next to the router.

Excellent laptop for the money

Arrived on time and worked right out of the box. No problem in set up and came with windows 7 not the confusing windows 8.

If all refurbs are like this, I'll buy more!

Works like a new laptop out of the box... no issues at all. Loaded it up with the usual Microsoft Office Suite and Webroot virus protection and I was good to go.

Awesome product, great price

Have had this PC since the start of the year, and it works great. Opening it up you would not know that it wasn't a brand new PC. Only minor issue is the track pad isn't very sensitive. However, it seems that this a design issue and not the fact that it is a referb. Liked this computer so much, compared to the cost that I've ordered one for my parents as well. Can't beat this deal.

Great Deal For The Money

Overall great product, appears to be brand new. Functions as advertised. The Touch Pad response could be better. But truthfully, I don't like touch pads, and will opt to use a wireless optical mouse.

Wouldn't know its not new

Three of these arrived as scheduled and are like new. If the box didn't say refurb you would never know. So far they are exactly as advertised and are fast.

best value and performance for your buck

Great, fast graphics machine with a decent size display (especially for older folks) and made by HP - the COTS company that can handle rough terrain. Way cool machine, although without USB3 ports, so I tagged it for Features. The main reason I am writing this is to dispel the notion created by the HP-killer comment - it is unwarranted, since he does not know (nor tell) who used his computer while he was gone and perhaps even dropped it.
