Great buy, Made my life much easier!
I actually wish that I would have gone the extra 20 bucks and got the Startech version with x2 bays and duplicator capabilities. Of course, this brand would have been fine as long as it duplicates. This one does not it being a single bay dock but a very durable and fast one at that. I am very pleased with its performance and price.

Easy to use
the esata makes for faster data transmission which is really nice. If you have a Esata port. Easy to fit in a back pack, in case you have to bring it somewhere. Great product.

Thermaltake BlacX HD Dock
This is my second one. It replaced another brand I had which never worked consistently. Now I have two BlacX HD Docks and they both are exceptional.

never go back
got this to replace second failed usb drive.... works great, can't find my E sata header but still fast and easy. just be sure to use safe removal better buy than sealed hard drives

Great for doing Drive Backups
I use this with esata and ssd for doing drive backups. Works great and it's fast with a solid state drive. Gives me a peace of mind knowing I can grab the drive and run in case of a fire,tornado or whatever emergency might arise.
