Works Good
Had a few problems installing it, went to the web site like others here said they had, but could not find the drivers online. I finally installed my drivers for my new mother board and the driver that I needed was there, so no problems. Love it.

Not Windows 7 PnP
As others have said, this card is not plug and play in Windows 7. I finally had to go to Masscool's website to download the driver (JMicron was useless). Needless to say, the driver should be shipped with the card rather than go to all this trouble.

Not Plug and Pay in Windows 7
Took a while to get this card working. I had to go to the Masscool website and download new drivers. Windows 7 would not recognize any drivers provided on the mini-cdrom that came with the board. No instructions are provided with the card. I am using it to interface with an internal SATA DVD player. Have not tried the RAID functions. Has worked well after loading the drivers.

Useless
On a newly built computer, installing Windows 7, Windows demanded a driver for the card which I could not find. Since the hdd I was installing to was ide, install would not proceed. Card is where it belongs, in the trash can.

Works as expected - with one drawback
Make sure you copy the JMB36X directory from the RAID driver directory to a flash drive if your CD,DVD,Blu-Ray drive is on this card during a Win7 fresh or re-install as windows will gripe about a missing driver (very vague) and won't proceed until you produce it! If your cd drive is on the controller, that's just not possible (even though you booted from it) unless you have it on another source. That aside, this card does everything it's supposed to. I have 2 of these in my system, as I have 6 SATA hard disks connected to the motherboard. One card handles the 1 SATA and one PATA DVD burners, and the other handles the Blu-Ray. This still allows me to have 2 eSATA connections, one of which I use for my external drive dock. For the price, you cannot beat this product.

I bought as a holdover til prices went down on blueray drives so i could still use my old drives and it performed as well as i could expect.

It supplied what I needed
I wanted to add a PATA DVD-Rom Dual layer burner to my new SATA based computer, as s 2nd DVD-ROM burner. With PCIe card I was able to do so without any problems at all. Works good so far. TonyB
