Great airflow, shorter life then expected
I'm about 6 months to a year in on this build, and I chose 3 of these fans for my case, 1 input on the side and 2 exit on the 2 80mm rear slots on my case. There is also a 120mm input on the front. Of the 3 80's, 2 are starting to get pretty noisy, especially the one used as air input. I built a new machine tonight with a different brand and was amazed at how quiet fans are, and just how noisy mine are :-( I will however say that these continue to move A-lot of air, so if noise isn't a primary concern for you, pick some up.

Good fan not too noisy
Installed 2 of these in a Linux box for cooling so far so good not too noisy. They have been installed for about 10 days so far

Works Great
I replaced an extremely noisy, 5 year old fan in a web server that sits behind my TV, so that may bias my opinion, but I found this reasonably quiet for what it was. Airflow seems to be adequate and mounting posed no problems. What more can you ask for from a $4 fan.

good but a little noisy
The fan is powerful but should only be installed on a server that is in a closed room. I installed mine on a server in my living room. Now we always hear a faint fan noise in the background unless the tv is on. At first I tried to replace the power supply fan with it. Since this fan pushes air so much, the noise generated was too much (like a small turbine). I ended up openning up the power supply casing. The inner components were sufficiently aired out by the newly installed fan which I aimed at the power supply.

Very Useful
This inexpensive fan has great production value. It is easy to wire to the motherboard. I got one fan at a store at 3X price. It had less component value.

No problems
The fan installed properly without a hitch and I have had it running for about a month without a problem.
