Sorry quality not what it used to be
Brought a Sony STR-DH710. After 1 year, HDMI2 stopped working. Now 2 years later, the amp doesn't drive the center channel. Crappy product. I had a Yahama that lasted me 12 years. I'm going back to Yahama or Onkyo.

A good choice
I purchased this to replace a pioneer that had blown it's HDMI ports. Fairly easy to setup. I used the mike from the pioneer to do it's auto speaker setup. A little tweaking of the EQ and we are up and cranking. Sounds good! Let's bother the neighborhood!

Great price, great sound!
The deal on this unit is awesome! The sound is great and it is relatively easy to set up. I upgraded from a tried and true Technics receiver that was 10 old and am very happy with the upgrade. Routing multiple HDMI inputs through the receiver is great as my TV only has one HDMI input. I would highly recommend getting a universal remote with this such as the Logitech Harmony 650 as the included remote cannot be programmed. It makes the whole entertainment system a breeze to operate.

Perfect Fit
I own a sony TV and sony surround and this receiver is a perfect fit. I can control my TV with the receiver remote and vice versa. Full of features love the USB slot and all the options to make my surround sound my own

Great Receiver
Love the HDMI hookups, the video and sound passthrough clears alot of cable mess up. Cleared the cable mess up. Only down side is remote only works with most sony products unless they are Anynet complient. Has same great sound as my old sony amp. Setting the speaker sound was simple.

VERY VERY NICE
This sony head unit is really great many diff options easy to set up just make sure you hook up and have plenty of hdmi cords for all the other devices the soround sound is great man i wish i go this along time ago! thanks again sony great product oh and make sure ya get one of the sony subs to give that theater feel at home
