Good for Geeks (like me)
Nice bright display for a very low cost monitor. Viewing angle is not very large, but fine for computer use. Monitor settings are not autodetected properly by Win or Linux (Xorg driver). Manual configuration is needed for highest resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels). After 2 yrs, my monitor went totally ''white screen'' and I had to troubleshoot the main circuit board and replace the failed (cheapo) electrolytic capacitors in the backlight power supply circuit. This monitor is NOT for non-techies!

2 plus years and still going
I was a little leery of this unknown brand - but at the price for a large 1920 by 1200 monitor it was worth a try. It has been in daily use in a business environment since 8-2008 without problem. It is still very bright and evenly lit.

Moniter
When I bought this moiniter I thought it was a good deal. Boy was I wrong! Fresh out of the box, I could not get it to power up. I called and they had to put a hold on my credit card to get a new one sent to me. When I got the second one, it powered up and seemed to work fine for a while. After about an hour or so, it rendomly shut off due to overheating issues. I would NOT recommend this moniter to ANYONE that is not technical. It overheats and is a bad moniter!

When I bought this monitor, I was a bit worried, but it was the cheapest, and I figured it couldn't be to bad. I was wrong. It's FANTASTIC! The only complaint is the stand, which seems a tiny bit flimsy. Watched the Space Shuttle launch on it the other day, using its built in speakers, sounded good, and its 24 inches of NASA. What more could you want?

I received this monitor yesterday and I am impressed. Unlike the other reviewer, I like the fact that it's brighter than most monitors I've had. This monitors size is impressive as well. Going from a 19'' to this monitor was a much larger jump than I expected. I am very happy with this purchase. For the money, it's an extremely good buy.
