Great drive!
Installed this drive in a MacBook Pro 13.3'' Core i7 16GB ram, this drive provided a substantial boost in performance, wake from sleep is instantaneous, program launch is faster, overall a noticeable speed bump to an already fast machine.

Great Quality SSD
Switching your old hard disk for this drive is probably the best thing you can do for your computer. It will truly compensate for lack of other resources. Great Price as well.

Freezes
When accessing files on the internet it freezes up quite a bit. I thought it was the programs and the other end until it failed and had to replace with a mechenical drive. I then noticed the problem. They replaced the unit and it has the same problem with a refurbished unit. Tried it in another Laptop and same problem. Not sure if others have the same problem.

Great Drive
Took less than one hour to clone Windows 8 and install Ubuntu. Absolutely smooth install. I have had problems in the past getting different OS's to co-habitate on the same SSD.Less than 12 seconds from cold boot Win 8, and I have a lot of background Apps running. Love it.

Works just as Advertised. FAST
The drive went in perfect in my son's HP Probook. Used duplicator and drive has work perfect so far. Uses it everyday for 6 to 9 hours.

Failure After 2 Months
About 1,500 bad clusters. Boot and data partitions mangled but I managed to restore the data partition using a 3rd party partition manager software. Reformatted the drive and ran chkdsk again, over 300 bad cluster more. It happens so no hard feelings towards the manufacturer. The gave me an RMA though it would be nicer if they also emailed me a prepaid UPS mailing papers, since it is their product's defects. As it is now I had to pay for the shipping.

So far so good
I bought this drive to give my lap top new life. As indicated in a previous review the process was seamless using the Clone Disk feature of Acronis although I hadn't realised at first that I needed to swap this drive for the old one in the machine and then place the old drive in an external case first. I have it set up to dual boot and so far have noted a significant speed increase in boot up and the lack of drive noise. And so far I have not noticed any problems at all.
