NOT WORTH A DIME
Product does not even pick up pbs stations that you can get with coat hanger antenna. not worth the price of returning. It was a gamble to purchase- have accepted as that.

Suitable
I purchased this product for my family as I already own one from new and mine work only a tad better than traditional antennas, but it was more compact and that is a good enough selling point for me but the amplifier that technically isn't necessary kinda is since to get any quality reception you have to use it. It does work as intended and on average has better signal connection than our old traditional antenna.

Bad product
Works great for about a minute or so then stops working. It will sometimes work for a few seconds, then go off and back on for 20 or 30 seconds. I don't know if it is worth the hassle returning or not, I don't want another one.

I hooked it up. Directions were understandable. Recption was good for stations within 25 miles as adbvertized.

Limited usefullness
Very directional in nature, and inexplicably fails to pick up some local strong stations, while picking up others that I do not care about. Useful enough, but not as much of a benefit as advertised...

junk
Only picks up 1 of our 7 local channels and that one isn't very clear. I'm less than 8 miles from the closest tower so it should have worked fine and that isn't the tower it picks up. My previous antenna amp picked them all up just fine until old age took it down. Definately do not recommend this item. Alread looking for a replacement for this new one. JUNK

No Significant Signal Effect
Removed traditional antenna and followed installation directions carefully. Signal reception was not enhanced by this device.
