I installed dd-wrt on it without any issues and use as a repeater bridge to extend wireless througout my house. Works great. I basically got a network extender for 29.99. Good deal! |

These are V2 models.
I put dd-wrt on both of mine, set one to Access Point mode so it passes DHCP to my 2Wire RG and the other is a Client Bridge feeding media to my PS3. This fixed all of my video stuttering issues. I stay at about 217 megs over the wireless consistently. Make sure to set the RX and TX to dedicated rather than auto, power to 35 mW and WPA2 Personal on both units and wireless fires like a cannon. Using the software from themediamall dot com and you are watching Hulu on the TV. Not too bad. $60 in and the cable company is FIRED. |
