It is an okay piece of equipment

We needed something quickly to finish a project. As we had ordered other items from here we thought we would give this a try. It worked very well, it is simple to use. I do not think it would be apropos for heavy industrial usage, for a home owner, serious hobbiest or as a back up tool it would certainly fill the bill. I have my good Fluke back from repair, but I will certainly keep this unit in my tool box as a back up or additional test unit.

Great Tool

I am doing a home netork job. This tool gives me more confidence with my in-wall installations, knowing that my cables have been checked with an electronic device designed for such work.

Great value

This tool is easy to use. I regularly make up cables and troubleshoot existing wiring. I can now quickly rule out wiring issues when chasing connectivity problems. It is also useful when trying to chase down unlabeled connections. Plug the sender in one end and use the football (receiver) to know when you've found the other end amidst the clutter. Great value. I do agree with some other reviewers that the material quality is a little suspect and it may not survive many drops but so far, so good.

Great Tester

Great tool, easy to use. I make my own network cables and this thing lets me know if they are working right. Does feel a little cheaply made though, dont think it would survive many drops.
