The D-Link® Xtreme N Duo™ USB Adapter (DWA-160) is the latest addition to the award-winning Xtreme N product family. The DWA-160 is designed for users looking to get a reliable wireless connection that can handle High-Definition (HD) video streams throughout the house. This is achieved by using the DWA-160 together with a draft 802.11n dualband router (D-Link DIR-855 or DGL-4500 recommended).

Not reliable
Worked great for about 30 days and it dropped connection and would no longer connect. Trying to get a RMA from D-link is a joke. Will look for another product. Asus comes to mind.

Reliable and Hackintosh compatible
This is the exact product that I was looking for in order to obtain wireless access via multiple operating systems. Responsiveness and signal quality are excellent!

Not too shabby
I have both the 140 and the 160 with the 140 installing flawlessly on two 8 year old destops with Win XP Pro and Home. The 160 gave me fits until I disabled the N band. I'm using a Verizon MiFi4510L hotspot with these two and I'm very happy with the internet connections that I get and I'm in a 3G only area! The support is a little rough as it is probably located in India. After dealing with satellite internet, thes units are pretty good and a heck of a lot cheaper.

works good for me
i carry it around with me everywhere works great i like the range and speed. the only thing is on some laptops u have to have the disk to install the driver but mostly it kicks right in. the most range i got in generic testing it was about 195 ft with a house in between and speed was 259ps on a two antenna N router its been almost a yr ago forget the model but it done pretty good still carry it around with me does alot better in a city with a lot of hot spots of course daa. if you are having problems what i have found out was mostly something to do with spy ware malware turns out to be the main problem.

Terrible with DIR-655
Many many dropouts and bugs with this particular USB adapter when used in conjunction with our DIR-655. Returned and purchased something different and better. Avoid this one.
