They sound good, both music and voice. I had to disable the sound card on my Vista box and make the USB speaker the default - you do this onetime only. Also works great on my Linux box.
One interesting thing about these speakers, the volume control and mute on the speakers work in parallel with the computer controls. You can make them louder with the speaker button and the volume control on the computer reflects this and vice versa.
Nice product for the price.

I use a 10'' netbook with tiny speakers to watch movies at the lake cottage. I purchased these speakers for that reason and also because of their price of only $12.95. They are attractive and do what they claim. I love that they are powered from the USB port. The great part is their design along with the small size of the netbook allows me to put everything into my old laptop case for easy transport. Even have room for the tiny projector I purchased with the speakers.
I gave this a lower rating on Features because it only has On, Off and Volume but bumped up the rating because of the USB power.
To sum it up, this is an excellent set of speakers for the money.

These are perfect for the laptop bag! powered by usb, no cords to carry around! sure better then the built in laptop speakers! well worth the $13

I couldn't be happier. These do everything I need and were pretty doggone cheap. The sound is clear. Volume up-down and mute buttons are all on the speaker itself fore simplified use. Only need to attatch the USB (no drivers) for both sound and power. No 3.5mm or power cord necessary.
Based on cost, they are good.

Easy to install. Considering cost I think the speakers are fine. The computer they are installed on is not intended to play anything more than Fox News. I like them.
