A huge upgrade
The sound is wonderful. The quality is excellent. The negatives does not run off of usb so that means an extra 110 cord exc. Bose speakers always run a little heavy to bass. After I found the equalizer in the computer controls these speakers are outstanding.

Dead out of the box
The two-prong 120V adapter was not making internal connection to the AC power pack. Entire unit had to be returned to your store. The 120V prongs should have been molded into the AC power pack. The setup guide is also worthless. It was written for people who ignore manuals. Download the Owner's Guide from the Bose web site. It actually has words in it.

Love them!!!!
Great speakers and great buy!!! Only wish they made a smaller sub woofer that attached to the other speaker slot because I would buy it too!!! I could be wrong if anyone could point me in the correct direction.

Bose Companion 2 speakers
These speakers are very clean and clear sounding. I use these for my Slingbox computer and they are truely a Bose product. Worth the money, no doubt.

Real Stereo Sound
I have had many of the new brands that have popped up as computer speaker manufacturers with no luck. Looking for big wooden cabinet sound for 60s and 70s music I decided to try companies that made speakers then for that sound. I was lucky to find a clearence sale on Bos ton Acou stic speakers a couple years ago and only wish I would have bought more. Their sound like these Bo se is liteyears back from todays speakers and have not let me down. For good stereo music sound I will stay with old established companies because they get it! We be jammin now!
