Solid product
I had some issues in the past with Seagates drives... I got one western digital that came in my pc in 2003 and it's still running fine in a machine I gave to a coworker. Western digital has solid products as I would be inclined to think they are worry free. Plenty of storage space thaught I would not use such drive for main boot drive. I use a 10 000 rpm 600 megs western digital ssd cached from Crucial to boot up my machine. I am pleased so far with western digital drives and have no complaints to report.

Love it!
Awesome HDD. Was a little noisy at when dumping 500GB of data to it but quite as can be now. Love this drive. Awesome value for the price.

Great hdd!
My thought is you should always go WD for HDDs. This drive is no different It doses exactly what it says it dose and the quality is great. I would know i got 3 lol.

Does not even compare with Seagate
This hard drive is the way to go! Works great, really fast, and I cant hear it over my loud Seagate but I am assuming its quiet.

Great HDD
Very fast, quiet and I expect it to be reliable. I have bought WD exclusively since 1994 and have yet to be disappointed. This 2TB drive so fart is the best. So, I expect to continue to buying and referring the WD line to everyone I know.

Works as advirtised!
I had to replace an HDD in an eight drive RAID5 NAS tower. Works like a champ. Took about 25 hrs. to rebuild the RAID. I had trouble using 'green' drives in a five drive RAID5 NAS - I was told it was internal firmware for workstation applications that was interfering. This looks like great solution!
