Third time is a Charm

This my third attempt in finding the right laser-pointer, mouse, remote: it worked right out the box. It fits well in my hand, light weight. It takes a little bit of finger training for one to get it right but after a couple of runs with a very large and complex Power Point presentation I was ready to go. I'm very satisfied.

Good range, annoying buttons

Range is good, and will the computer will respond, no matter where I am in the room (I often teach 15-20 people). However, the buttons are illogical, so I just use the scroll bar.

A good value

I bought the presenter last week, used it a couple times and am overall happy with the purchase. The mouse controller part of the pointer will work fine for the occasional remote needs, though it seems a little awkward. The ppt slide advance worked well and I liked it being able to advance only one slide at a time. The previous pointer of brand-x tended to jump through multiple slides at a time, which is rather annoying. The double-button push to activate the laser could be an issue with some, but I don't use it, so that is OK also. Otherwise the pointer fits well enough in the hand.

No Puffery

I ordered this presenter to replace a cheaper model with less declared range and no mouse capability. With the laptop 110 feet away and behind a partition, it still heard everything the presenter emitted. The mouse function works flawlessly, and laser as well. I would happily do without the flashing indicator when the laser is active, but can not complain about the purchase. A good price and a good product.

Nice but not perfect

Great value for the price! But it's not good for the mouse. The cursor doesn't move well...

Great Product

I've tried several wireless presenters and despite the advertising, they all seemed to fade out at the 30' to 40' range. This one is working great at 60', well beyond what I need it to.

Use this with a SmartBoard

I am a teacher and I use this with my smartboard. The next slide feature works with smartboard software. The mouse feature while useful works OK. The laser feature is also very handy!

Excellent

Worked straight out of the box, no problems setting up. I use this in a church, it works well with Open Office Presentation, as well as the Easy slides program we use (both being free software). I would recommend this to anyone needing this type of device. It fits your hand well and can be used either right or left handed.

Works GREAT!

Plug and Play...Point. Used for a Sunday School presentation and no problems at all. For what I will use it for, the price was right.
