Bad Quality Screen

Horrible screen, horrible quality. Spend the extra $100 and get a better screen. Could not get this screen squared, every time we tried to mount it the screen material would pop out of the frame. Do not purchase!Matt

Great screen for the money

Got mine a couple of weeks ago, no glue issues with felt. Put together in about 20 minutes with no tools required. Instructions for wall mounting gave precise measurements. Wall mounted in another 20 minutes (drill and screw driver needed for this part) and looked great on the all. It is acoustically transparent so I inset speakers in the wall behind it, fired up 8350 projector and WOW was the picture great. This is by far the best screen for the money hands down.

Great Value and Lightweight

I recently purchased this 92 in screen as the new crown jewel of my man cave. This screen compliments my 8350 really well. It arrived on time is very light weight, and I didn't have the felt or glue problems that others have. I have tested the image quality on both animated and live action movies and both look amazing. The color is uniform and there is no shine reflected back. It performs well during the day and night. The frame itself isn't the sturdiest in the world and I wish it had a back cover plate to help lock the screen in place instead of the plastic strips that slide into position. The only negative comment I have is that the wall mounts are small and plastic and doesn't provide as sturdy of a mounting as I was expecting, but once its on the wall and level, you really don't need to touch it again. Good Basic Screen

The Good: this screen gives a nice uniform image, with no hotspotting, texturing, or sparkling, The 4 piece frame goes together quickly and easily, the felt covering absorbs overscan effectively. The Bad: Some of the felt covering on the frame was peeling off right when I removed frame from the box. it seems the glue used is inadequate. there was also some slight warping of the (will continue)

Easy install and great product

Was a little worried after reading a couple of reviews, but being pretty handy thought I could handle it. Took 15 mins to assemble the product, and 20 mins to install on wall properly. Frame was a little boughy after assembly, but the mounting hardware corrects everything. Customer was extremely happy with the end result. Will purchase this product again and again.

Good product, needs improvements

Great screen, looks great. Glue holding the velvet on is unacceptable, though - mine was half peeled off at delivery. When screen is stretched tight on the frame, the frame actually bows in the middle and the long sides are no longer parallel. Makes mounting very difficult.

Good-Ok Quality, Easy to Assemble, Tight Screen

I purchased the 92'' Fixed Frame Projector Screen - 16:9, Matte White, Black Velvet Frame. The product assembled very easily, did it while I was playing video games :) The only tough part of assembly was mounting the screen material onto the frame. The material is tight so the screen is flat and does not have wrinkles, so this makes the mounting a little tough on the fingers. I was impressed with the frame and the screen mounting design, I like it. The only poor quality I have noticed on this product is the glue for felt on the metal frame. The glue appears to be not adhesive enough and some of the felt is coming unglued from the metal frame, and this is on a new out of the box product. Product received May 2010. Overall mechanical design is solid, minus the glue! If you are thinking about building a screen yourself, save time and headache, just buy this product!

Abysmal Product

If you need a screen, you may want to look elsewhere. This screen is the hardest product assembly I have ever done. My thumbs are blistered from trying to insert the tabs and stretch the screen at the same time. Also, screen material is cheap polyester that is impossible to keep clean and dirt is extremely noticeable because of the bright white material. The picture was acceptable, though. Hands down, the worst product I have ever ordered.

Excellent screen

I had a manual pull down screen and replaced with this acoustically transparent screen. Great performance- highly recommended. Easy to assemble. Nice frame and materials.

The best investment I made for my new theater room

This screen is magnificent. It is large, clear picture. I had professional AV installers to assemble and install it for me. They said they had never seen one like this (I bragged about the fact that it is washable). It looks GREAT. The velvet trim sets it off to look very custom. And most importantly, I saved nearly $700 because the professional installers quoted way more for something quite similar. I can't be more pleased with my AccuScreen 92-inch sreen.
