It Works Well
I used this to replace the stock Intel cooler on my old Socket 478 Intel D850MV with a 2.6GHz Northwood. It is quieter than the original, and it is running a few degrees cooler too.

Thermaltake TR2 M12 CPU 478 Cooler
What can I say about this New 478 CPU cooler with fan from Thermaltake, that is replacing a 9 year old and slowing down Intel CPU cooler. It's really quiet, works great & has already dropped the temp to my 3.0 HT P4 from 61C to 54C, plus it has an 80mm fan on it and not a 2.5 inch one like the Intel did. Plus I changed out the fan to an Apevia in green with 4 LED's, now my old comp looks almost new - lol.

Quiet and work great
Does an excellent job and it's really quiet. Way better than my old oem one. For those that say that it doesn't work on P4, it's probably that you don't know how to install it because is way easier to install this one and to remove it than the stock that come with P4.

New life for an old chip
Really cools old 478 Prescott. Simple to install and very quiet. I'd buy another, if I was to go back and build any more 478 machines.
