As a network administrator my job revolves around things that have to work day in day out.. One of the most nagging problems I face is when to fix or replace a printer. Brother printers have been a very solid addition for our users for many years. Typically we get between 4-6 years out of their monochrome printers, as the circuit board cards typically fail over time in our warehouse environment.. These are far superior to other models on the market in terms of maintenance cost, and replenishment supplies.. This is the first of the HL 2140 we've purchased, and this seems to be the best made yet.. Quick start up time, fast printing pages. If you have a problems printer ever, just replace the printer with one of these and you will no longer have any problems. |

This printer replaced an HP officejet, though the HL-2140 is black and white, it is probably the bet printer I have purchased soo far! We needed more of an office printer than an AIO. Once you click print, pages start coming out. I have used laser printers at my school and the pages have been ridiculously hot and the printer got that way too, along with a weird smell most of the time. But this is not the case with the Brother Laser printer. Pages come out warm and the fan is the same way; Warm, not too hot. |

Neat, compact, easily installed, prints extremely well. Only a couple of months old but no complaints of any sort.
Well packed by the manufacturer and delivered speedily by Tiger Direct.
Need I say more? If you want a simple and effective mono laser printer you could do a lot worse than this. |
