Handy tool
Worked flawlessly. I had one problem, but after running through my normal testing proceedures, it does NOT appear to be confined to this item! I managed to work around the problem with my Image software by plugging this into a usb 2.0 port, it was slower but I got the file backup image without errors. I am assuming for the present that the problem is with my two port PCI to USB 3.0 card. I have a 2 teribyte external hard drive plugged in to one port, and I had similar problems with a USB 3.0 hard drive dock. Image software is very precise when making backups, doesn't take much to register an error.

Worked 1 Day
Used it once. The second time I went to use it the power supply popped. When it worked it was fine.

USB converter
This item arrived expeditiously and worked perfectly out of the box. It was a lifesaver enabling me to clone my too small hard drive without reinstalling everything. USB 3 support is particularly appreciated for the speed of transfer. It took longer to format the new drive than to download 40GB to it: 4 hours to format, 30 min to download.
