Bought for older parents. Thought usb powered would be great, but some computing noise comes through(HD etc.) otherwise great for money

You get what you pay for
Pros: Great price, USB powered Cons: Oh dear God, the noise Unless you're actually listening to something, you'll want to leave these turned off. I just built my own system and went with these cheap speakers to keep the price down. As soon as my rebates come in, I'm upgrading.

Economy Speakers
These little gems suited my needs to a tee! The reason I wanted these is because I purchased a new Portable dvd player( it has a usb port). Thats right, now I can hear my favorite dvds with no conflicts from annoying backrounds disturbances. Now I like my player even more!

great little speakers
Plugged them in and turned them on and they work great. I don't hear any noise from them except that which they are supposed to be producing.

Good speakers for portable computers
These speakers sound fine and are pretty quiet compared to some others I owned. I wish they had some more volume but they are adequate. The sound is pleasing and covers the full spactrum. These are of light weight and are good for travel. Most who thing that they are noisy proably are hearng there hard drive making noise through there bus system.

Kinda Nice..
I knew sorta what to expect when I bought these speakers. I got them just to have some cheap speakers for my kids to use when they play their games. They do have a crackle in them, and sound like crap when you turn them up. That being said, they only cost $10. You get what you pay for. Value wise it's a good deal, quality wise, not so much..
