Great Lens
I bought this to extend my use of my new Nikon D5000. I actually use this lens about 90% of the time instead of the 18-55 that came with the camera. The vibration resistance is wonderful.

Great lens!
Put this on a D60 for some improved photos from distance. We made sure to get the VR and are 90% happy with the lens. I have found myself needing to switch lenses more than I really wanted to, and that's the only thing keeping the value down in my book. For the extra cost of the Nikkor 18-200mm lens, I could have sold my 18-55mm to make up most of the difference and only needed one lens for almost everything I use it for. The photos we took with it came out beautiful and I don't knock the lens at all...it's a great deal if you know you don't need any close ups or you know you'll have time to change lenses between shots.
