Nice Lens
The lens gives you great photos when it focus's in on the subject. It seems to have a hard time focusing when there are to many objects in the way. I was at the birth of my grand daughter and was very disappointed with the pictures that I got. A lot of them were not in focus and it seems that if there are two subjects in the picture the lens wants to focus on the subject closes to you leaving the other subject in a blur. I will need to work with this lens some more and also do some research on it.

Great Lense
It is a great lense for sporting events and such. I'm an amateur photographer and I've been using it for kids recitals and such. It has worked well so far. However, you can probably get a better off brand one for cheaper; for those who are looking to be serious photographers.

Great lens
I bought this in a package deal with the D3000 DSLR, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Highly recommend this as an add-on.
