I'm a student, and I use this in class for taking notes and drawings. it works great, only a few minor issues that are no real problem. First is that every time you start the program, you must choose where on the paper you want to place the reciver. second is that it writes in pen, so if you need to erase something, you can't erase the paper copy. also, i suggest using it in note mode, as opposed to mouse mode with one note, because the screen is not the same shape and size as a sheet of paper.
all in all, well worth it, great product. As a bonus, all my friends really like it, and a few have already got one |

I purchased this scribe more as something to play with than as an actual tool. It has lived up to my expectations.
It's accuracy on page location is good, it is a good size as a pen, it is light weight, it is inexpensive, it's easy to use.
It only comes with a pen tip, and only one. No stylus. I didn't like that aspect because I was using it as a mouse more than a note taking tool.
It was still worth $40. |

The digital scribe works great! It is very accurate and install/setup was simple. My one complaint has to do with the software that comes with it. It does not convert handwriting to text, you have to buy additional software for that feature. |

I'm a small business owner and plagued by post-it notes and loose papers including LOST information from phone calls, messages, directions, etc. In my quest to organize and simplify this pen has been an indespensible tool. It is AWESOME. I keep it attached to a large legal pad on my desk by my phone and it captures everything I write. This way I have the paper AND the digital copies. Anything I don't want/need, I erase and the important stuff I save on my pc. Then the paper can go with me or in the trash. The only way it would be better is if the transmitter didn't have to be at the top of the paper and I coulr write anywhere and have the pen send it to the PC. I'm sure that's coming. I am so in love with this that I'm planning to buy a tablet PC now to complement my desktop. Also if you're going to buy this - look into Onenote from Microsoft. It is the answer to my prayers. My life is not organized and captured digitally! I wish I had this technology in college! |
