As always, Denon is the best

I have used Denon products for years and have not once been less than extremely pleased. My home stereo integrated amp still works great and it is 30 years old. This receiver easily produces ear-bleeding volume with high-quality sound reproduction through my Polk Audio tower speakers with a 5.1 set-up.

Good value and performance

Bought this to replace an older Kenwood. Sounds great. Set up was easy. Very good value for the $$$$

great system

easy to hook up right out of the box . has great power for most speakers . vary clear through my polks . but might have got the next step up with a little more power for most polk spearkers this one only has 75 wts per and most polks are 100 wts per . but still sounds great .

Great for the money

This is a very good receiver for the money. It is a bit dated, though. If you want something that will work with newer equipment, I'd not suggest you purchase this item. Newer versions of the XX16 line have ethernet capability and you can easily do firmware updates.

Pleasantly Surprised

I've had another brand for 9 years, the first for six, the most recent for three. I thought they did a good job, until I got this unit. I am amazed at the difference. The clarity and balance of the sound of this unit is great. I can't imagine another unit under $1000. being any better.

Nice Receiver for the money

I bought this receiver to upgrade the system I have in the family room. For the price it is a very nice product. There are ample connections on the unit for speakers Ipod etc. I have owned Denon products before and find the quality to be excellent.
