This product came out in 2006 and is now out of production. The last firmware update was 08, but that also means no need to worry with any more. One poster apparently couldn't find a manual, but one is available online at SanDisk. The info for this unit is under the e200 series on the support site: e250-2Gb, e260-4Gb, etc. Check out the forum for this unit while there.
I ranked the features according to what's available on the current market, but it cannot be beat for the price. |

I got my wife this MP3 player and she loves it. She tells me that it is very simple and when i told her about the price, she could not believe me. I got big point that i cashed in for a whole week. |

First off no manual.
SD's customer support suckes.
Worked for maybe a month and my computers stopped recognizing it period.
this company should just stick to making thumb drives! |

Bought mine last year and updated to the 'Rock box' firmware. Rock box is a open source firmware available online and makes these units ROCK! I also use Win FF for all my non music media instead of the Sansa file converter. If you need a manual for this unit you can download it from the Sansa webpage, as well as their media converter if you want it. I use my Sansa nearly everyday for work and play. I bought a nice clear case for it on ebay for cheap. I highly recommend getting the case for the belt clip convenience and the extra protection it provides. I do not regret the purchase at all. Buying one for my son for this Christmas. |
