I read a lot or reviews, but typically do not write them. This camera gives me the opportunity to give back for all the reviews I have read to help make buying decisions. I purchased the bundle deal for my girlfriend $89.99 (Camera/ Case/1gb SD Card).
I would say the TigerDirect video review is spot on. The camera more than meets the needs for an entry level camera user. We have been pleased with the build quality of camera and value of the bundle. Pictures are sharp and easy to take. There are some more advanced features that the average user probably will not use, but are good to have. Video quality is acceptable not awesome (it's a digital camera not a video camera). I have used/owned several different brands of camera this one is as good as any I have used/owned, these include Sony, Canon and HP. The lag time between photos is acceptable a little better than the lower end Canon we use at work.
I give this a camera a thumbs up and would highly recommend it as an entry camera. |

I bought this camera for my 13 yr old daughter and she loves it. It takes great pictures for her and short movie clips. I used it at an indoor event (mostly night mode) and it was ok at taking movie clips, only thing, the sound quality wasn't the greatest. Other than that, good investment for 1st time digital owner or for pre-teens and teens. Very simple point-n-shoot. Features are great, not sure if all work to my benefit, except the stablization mode. The case and memory card as a bundle is good as well! It's a good try and see deal. |

OMG I LOVE THIS CAMERA IT TAKES GOOD PICTURES EASY TO OPERATE . THE ZOOM IS GREAT FIXEN TO BUY MY MOM ONE. YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THIS PURCHASE. |

I received this camera for Christmas. Lets just say its been nothing but problems. The first one I got had a huge red line through every video that I took, so I sent it back. Tiger Direct is always good with returns and exchanges. The second one was good, until out of nowhere in the middle of a huge event the camera began to put yellow lines through the images. So I sent it back for a refund. This camera sucks, not to mention the colored pixels in darker lighted pictures. It has a lot of features, but the images an quality of the camera are horrible. |

I bought this camera 4 months ago and thought it was a good value until now. Now it doesn't work at all, and there's no warranty. I wouldn't recommend this product.
When it was working, the picture quality wasn't quite as good as I had expected and the shutter speed seemed really slow, even with fresh batteries. |

Wish I would have known this camera uses a --proprietary USB cable--. Maybe to save space(?), they use the same port for AV out -and- USB, which means the USB cable is not standard (nor is the AV cable). Other than that, the camera is fast and good quality with a solid feel. |

I bought this camera hoping it would work for some time. Now I had it for six months and it still works perfectely. The camera is sturdy, the LCD screen bright and sharp. Little snag the 7MP pictures are a bit blurry but if you want to print it in a normal format (like a conventionnal camera) the pictures are as vivid and sharp as any other wich fits my needs. Yeah it eats batteries pretty fast but not dramatically fast. The tranced SD card works great and it's fast. The case is big enough for the camera and 4 spare batteries. Conclusion you won't get better anywhere for a 100 bucks kit. |

I just got this camera for my birthday and I'm not 100% thrilled with the camera. Sometimes when I'm taking a picture the LCD screen turns off, then I have to take out the batteries and restart the camera. Then I lose the picture I just took when the screen shut off. It's also a battery eater, but what digital camera isn't? |
