I plugged it into my vaio and went to get the driver and it did not work as a faster port.

Ultra ULT40127 5 Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 PCI Card
Installed in a PC running Windows Vista Business and the software installed without any problems but the USB ports are DEAD. Don't know if I got a defective card or if it is the operating system.

Great product!!!
I ordered this to upgrade my Sony Vaio desktop. It had 2 USB ports on the back, and 2 on the front. They were not high speed ports. This was a quick 5 minute install, was automatically recognized by the system. Very simple plug in, put screw in, cover back on case, and use. Works great!!!! No issues at all. Well worth the money. Quite a bargain, actually!
