Mustang Electric 120" 16:9 Projector Screen
When looking for clean-line design that also delivers top-of-the-line of the performance, choose Mustang's Electric Projection Screen. The smooth-running electric motor allows the screen to scroll up and down with its IR remote or in-line switch. The scratch resistant steel white case will protect the screen when its not in use as well as blend into any décor. Once the screen is pulled down, enjoy the screen's matte white viewing surface, which diffuses projected light uniformly over the screen– creating ideal viewing from any angle. Black masking borders around the sides of the screen increase picture focus and contrast. The HDTV (widescreen) versions include a black masking border above the image for a crisp clean look. Mustang's Electric Screen is the ultimate electric projection screen.

Hopefully the screen is worth the wait and I can modify this review. YRC (courier) is horrible. My screen has been sitting in their warehouse for 3 days and after about 5 phone calls to them nobody can tell me what is going on. They keep saying they will call me back and setup a delivery time but nobody ever calls back. If this is the company Tigerdircet is going to use I don't think I will be ordering anything else from them.

Arrived sooner than expected. Make sure you have someone home that can lift it because the trucker will leave it in the front yard. The remote control is RF not IR. The manual says you can program it to stop anywhere but no instructions on how to do that. Overall great deal for the money.
Got the screen sooner then expected. Works great. You can stop the screen at any point while it's coming down or program it to stop at the same point everytime. It has a black backing so light doesn't go through. Overall an excellent buy, you just can't beat this screen. similar products from other brands sell for a lot more. Very happy with my new screen!!

Wasn't sure about the wizdom of buying such a cheap electric screen. The build quality is ok. It has a cheap looking plastic box the houses the IR and switch and really long power lines. I hid them away up behind a custom built beam that I built to hide the screen when it's not in use.
Initially the screen had some puckering. It's settling out now and would advise taking some time to make sure you mount it nice and level. Then leave it 48 hours dropped to allow the screen to settle out.
The picture is nice and clear when projecting. The rolling marks visible on the screen when the lights are on is not visible when projecting the picture. (Using with an InFocus X10).
Only complaint is that the motor is a little on the slow side. But it's fine value for the price paid.

Was optimistic about this screen at first but after installing it and watching Blu-Ray movies and playing 360 games on it - I love it. The picture seems brighter than the silver/grey screen. There was no ceiling mounting hardware which was no big deal - I bought 10" wall bracket and 1/4" molly bolts, 2-S hooks. The only problem is, there is no stop adjustment so you can set it to stop where you want it to (So no Black shows-thus, the 4 score.). You have to press to stop button to stop at the point you want or just let it run till it stops itself. Overall, great screen.

About HDTV Viewing Angles
The Viewing Angle of any TV is an important specification. The wider
the viewing angle, the more enjoyable your experience. Viewing angles
above 150° means you can view your TV from a reasonable range - from the
front and off to the sides. However, viewing angles above 170° are
best! Many of today's Plasma and LCD HDTVs offer viewing angles of
178°, and their images do not suffer from degradation at very high viewing
angles. LCD TVs were originally designed for a one user
experience, as a computer monitor, but the technology has kept pace with the
demands for ever increasing viewing angles, and most offer excellent viewing
experiences. Between LCD and Plasma; Plasma TVs have the advantage,
but by a small margin.
Viewing angles are not an issue with
projectors because the light source is coming from in front of the screen,
and not from behind. However, the surface on which you project (screen or
wall surface) may have a slight impact on viewing angles, so it is important
to choose the best screen possible.

Projecting
The Perfect Home Theater Experience!
When creating a home theater, most people overlook the amazing benefits of
using a
DLP or LCD Projector instead of a large screen LCD or Plasma TV.
Projectors provide the ultimate experience in big screen viewing.
Instead of a 40 or 50 inch TV, with far less cost, you can have a
8 or 10
foot screen, and transform your living room into a true theater experience.
Additionally, projectors are available with High Definition displays for
incredibly crisp rich full color cinematic images. When you sit on a
sofa 6 or 8 feet away from a 10 foot screen, it almost exactly the same
experience as sitting in the movie theater (without the guy talking on his
cell phone behind you!) So consider the ultimate upgrade to your home
theater or gaming system. Add in a great home theater sound system,
and for very little money, you've created a movie watching dimension the
envy of your friends and family. So before you decide on your wide
screen consider the perfect solution to transforming any living room into
your own cineplex!
