I use two different operating systems.
32 bit ubuntu and 64 bit Win XP
The drivers supplied had a wide range of install issues for XP ranging from requiring things from the SP 2 disc but not saying to just not seeing the 64 version of my OS as XP, NT, or Vista since it couldn't find a happy medium I have yet to fix the install bugs, I will probably write my own installer after I tear theres apart and figure out what all it needs.
I have less trouble installing things in linux but it's still buggy. Mainly the remote but that's nothing new.
I gave three stars because there is still to much up in the air to just write this off. but this is defiantly NOT a beginner friendly plug and play item. And the Sabrent site is no help at all.
I hope others with different OSs have less hassle. |

this unit is junk. i am surprised comp usa would sell something like this!!! i bought many items from comp usa and they were great but this is a total rip-off!!! save your money!!!!!!

It does everything it says, blaze tv software good, works with vista, picture quality is lacking! wmc doesn't see tuner, no drivers for wmc on sabrent site that I have found! maybe something we can do in device drivers mgr, but I don't remember seeing that it said wmc compatible. remote is quite small, but also not big and bulky, if I had to do all over again I would opt for a unit that is wmc compatible. |

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
So far, I too have been unable to scan tv channels at all. And many times when i try, I get the blue screen of death and my computer shuts down.
It's totally aggravating, and the support at the companys website is totally nonexistent. I have been trying to work with a tech support site to solve it, but it looks like this might have been just a waste of money.
